This blog has been neglected

I have not written for Astrology at the Movies for nearly two months. This was my first blog, and now I have three. For many years, I have been fascinated with how planetary archetypes play out in film. However, I haven't seen anything recently that has inspired me. Additionally, I started Seduction Central a few months ago, and have made a commitment to myself to blog there every weekday. I also write about every New and Full Moon at Lunar Tunes.

Do not despair! I am confident I will write for this blog again, but I do not want to post just for the sake of it, when I truly feel inspired about other areas of astrology. In the meanwhile, visit my other blogs, or other astro-bloggers (see the links in the sidebars), and sign up for my newsletter (top of right sidebar) to keep informed of my latest essays. You can also visit my Site Map for an organized list of my movie essays.

Happy New Year!

Jeffrey: Can't you write something about TV or don't any TV shows inspire you either? The show "Medium" has been very important to me bc it's teaching me a lot about how to handle my Pisces Moon. Furthermore, the emphasis on crime also speaks to my Pluto/Moon opposition. The show is based on a real medium, Allison DuBois.

I don't watch much network TV, and I don't have cable. I do watch "acclaimed" TV shows on DVD, but by the time I watch them, it's a year or more after they showed on TV.

I did write a profile on Alias' Jennifer Garner once, but after I saw Michael WolfStar's analysis on StarIQ, I felt he beat me to it.

I've also been interested in J.J. Abrams' chart, but don't have an exact birth time. Alan Ball of 'Six Feet Under' also interests me.

Do you want to be a guest blogger and write about 'Medium'?

Oh, that is very sweet, Jeffrey! But I don't have the astrological "chops" to write about any TV show the way that you do!

Hey Jefrey ! Don't forget this site! I have seen "Pan"s Labyrinth" and shocked me, I really liked it. I think it have a lot of this sat-nept opposition. It is very sad film for moments but incredibly it don't leave me a sad flavor, however acceptance of sad facets of reality. (a argentine Psychologist reader, Moon tunned and fanatic of movies)

crazy moon,

I'm not giving up on movies -- I just don't get to the theater as often as I used to, and I haven't been inspired by the DVDs I've been renting. Pan' Labyrinth is definitely on my to-watch list.
